Karen and Rick's Beach Wedding in Indianola

September 15 2012

Karen and Rick are WA firefighters and had planned their beach wedding in the quaint little town of Indianola.
The location of this wedding was so incredibly beautiful. It was such a perfect day for a beach wedding, not a cloud in the sky... it truly was a wonderful sunny day.
Sally and I set about draping the ceremony arbor with a hop's garland, in a nod to Rick's love of brewing and then set off to the reception site at the Indianola Club House.
During her initial consultation, our bride-to-be, gave Sally shells and rocks from the beach in Costa Rica where they had gotten engaged and asked her to incorporate them into the reception table decor.
Karen's bouquet was designed by Sally with white calla lilies and bear grass, hand tied in burlap. As a surprise, Sally attached one of the sand dollars from Lisa's shell cachet to the stem wrap. The perfect beach bouquet!
Apparently, the married couple draped their boat with the hops garland which they sailed all the way to the San Juan Islands for their honeymoon........

Kate and Ryan's Wedding at Port Gamble

September 8th 2012
When I met Kate, Ryan I knew these two were going to be a fun couple to work with! Kate told me Ryan was a Landscape Gardner and knew a thing or two about flowers, I just loved that!
Purple and ivory with silver grey accents was Kate's color palate and, Ryan and I went back and forth with suggestions to each other about what flowers were in season with thoses hues! Dahlias, hydrangeas and roses, of course...Kate loves purple calla lilies so we decided to add some into her bridal bouquet and one for Ryan's boutonniere. Beautiful combination!
The ceremony took place at Holy Trinity Church followed by an outdoor dinner reception at the Vista Pavilion in the quaint old town of Port Gamble.

Lisa and Horatio's Wedding at the Tribal Longhouse

September 7th 2012.

Lisa is a member of the Suquamish Tribe, and Horatio, who is a Texan boy through and through, were marrying at the Tribal Longhouse in Suquamish.

It was a big wedding with over two hundred tribal members, family and friends in attendance. We used mostly red and white flowers handtied in black ribbon, in keeping with the tribal colors.
The weather was picture perfect, Mt Rainer was in full view and the waters of Agate Pass were twinkling... Oh, happy day.

Elizabeth and Peter's Wedding at The Clearwater Casino Resort and Spa

Aug 14th 2012
Elizabeth and Peter picked a wonderful venue for their intimate wedding, the Clearwater Casino Resort and Spa in Suquamish. The views are Pacific NW splendour!
My bride wanted a "different" kind of bridal bouquet, one with pizazz- red, big and with texture.
We decided on an arm-held bouquet of red anemones with black centers, huge red garden roses, saucer red dahlias and peacock feathers for added texture! And, she loved it! Peter's boutonniere was a little tiny mini bundle, similar to her bouquet color.
Million Mods photo images coming soon. Thank you, Million!

Beta and Jordan's Wedding at the Everett Golf and Country Club

August 25th 2012 Wedding at the Everett Golf and Country Club.

Beta and Jordan were so much fun to work with. From the early planning stages of how to incorporate "keys and gold " elements into the design concept,  I really enjoyed how Beta managed to pull it all off, such stlye and elegance...she has a superb designer's eye, for sure!

Classic white peony and rose bouquet with just the right amount of "bling".

And, how sweet is this, Beta asked me to tie a beautiful pendant around each of her bridesmaids' bouquets as a surprise gift to them!!

A wonderful, fun loving couple with a fabulous sense of humor and respect for each other, sharing a happy life together, excellent!

Samantha and Matt's Wedding at Kitsap Golf and Country Club

August 4th 2012

The most adorably "in love" couple....what a pleasure and an honor to design a pink wedding for Samantha ( and Matt?!?). Sally and Hilary did an amazing job of the floral decor of the foyer, ceremony room and the reception tables!

I got there just in time to see Matt have his first look at Samantha, and what a smile he had on his face, happy couple, beautiful family and surrounded by lots of friends to celebrate their big day with.
